1. Nature of Our Services

Tonnie Kariuki Law provides customized professional legal drafting and document review services.

Because our services involve professional time, legal analysis, research, drafting, and customization based on each client's specific requirements, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

2. Advance Payments

Where payment is required before work begins, such payment reserves professional time and resources for the client's matter.

Once substantial work has commenced, refunds may not be available for completed portions of the service.

3. Cancellation Before Work Begins

Clients may request cancellation before drafting, review, research, or other substantive work has started.

Where cancellation is approved before work begins, a refund may be issued after deducting any applicable administrative or processing costs.

4. Cancellation After Work Has Started

If work has already commenced, refunds may be limited or unavailable depending on:

• The amount of work completed.
• Time spent on the matter.
• Research or preparation already undertaken.
• Costs incurred in delivering the service.

5. Drafting Services

Legal documents are prepared based on the instructions and information provided by the client.

Refunds generally will not be provided where:

• The document has been completed according to the agreed instructions.
• The client changes their requirements after work has begun.
• The client provides incomplete or inaccurate information.
• The client no longer requires the document after completion.

6. Document Review Services

Contract and document review services involve professional analysis and time spent reviewing client materials.

Once review work has commenced, refunds are generally not available for completed review services.

7. Revisions

Where revisions are included in a service package, we will make reasonable revisions relating to the original instructions.

Refunds will not normally be provided because a client requests additional work outside the original scope.

8. Fiverr and Marketplace Orders

Clients who purchase services through Fiverr or other freelance marketplaces are also subject to the refund, cancellation, and dispute procedures of those platforms.

Marketplace orders may be governed by the applicable platform rules in addition to this Refund Policy.

9. Duplicate Payments

If a client accidentally makes duplicate payments for the same service, the duplicate amount may be refunded after verification.

10. Payment Processing Fees

Where refunds are approved, transaction fees charged by payment processors may be deducted where permitted.

11. Refund Requests

Refund requests should include:

• Client name and contact details.
• Description of the service purchased.
• Date of payment.
• Reason for the refund request.

Refund requests should be submitted as soon as possible after the issue arises.

12. Processing Refunds

Approved refunds will generally be processed using the original payment method.

Payment for legal drafting or review services does not guarantee any particular legal, commercial, regulatory, or business outcome.
